CRY charity Gig with 2-Tone

2tone Party 209x300 CRY charity Gig with 2 Tone

Last night I DJ’d with 2-Tone David Mason & Ryan Chandler, collectively they have been singing and dancing professionally for many years nationally and internationally.
There vocal talents have led to singing, performing at a variety of places including Buckingham Palace at the Queen’s Golden Jubilee as the lead vocalist with ‘Soulfish’ a 10 piece soul band, also ’party in the park’, for a 100,000 people.

The Charity event is organised by Sue Williams whose son David died suddenly on December 2005 at the young age of just 16, he is just one of the 12 under 35 year olds that die each week in the UK alone of undetected heart defects. There were some footballers in the audience including Gerry Francis of England and QPR fame.

Since David’s death I have worked with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) to try to raise awareness of these heartbreaking untimely deaths.

CRY was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of conditions that can lead to young sudden cardiac death. They offer support to bereaved families, extensive research, screening and counselling.

This was our 4th CRY Charity Halloween event to raise awareness and funds for this very worthy cause.

More details on CRY can be found at their website

I then went to Soiree to catch the end of John Jones (Hed Kandi) set he was a really nice guy and seemed to enjoy the vibe of the club.
