I DJ’d at two weddings over the Bank Holiday and have another two this weekend.
Last Saturday, I played the music at 60’s soul / Northern Soul themed wedding. The bride and groom turned up in an old Jag she looked like twiggy in a short white mini skirt and he was very mod looking.
Musically it made a change for me and was really enjoyable although some guests in the evening appeared to be a little bit musically illiterate wanting JLS and Lady Gaga, which would have been fine if they were paying for me and not the happy couple, who wrote to me the next day thanking me.
