90’s Music

90's music - The 90’s started where the 80’s finished off musically but then we saw Electronic music, which had increased in popularity in the 1980s, grew highly very in the 1990s; house and techno from the 1980s rose to international success in this decade, as well as new electronic dance music genres such as Techno and Trance. Not being left behind in the 90s either was Hip-hop which had done well in the eighties also. Rock and Pop continued to

An Audience with Rusty Egan

Over the past few years, I have been lucky enough to work alongside Rusty Egan a major influence in 80's music and the club scene back then. He is still producing some amazing music and DJing. I have been lucky enough to work alongside him at some great events such as Freddy Rocks at Pikes in Ibiza and also alongside Rusty and  Steve Norman from Spandau Ballet playing the sax at a charity gig in Mayfair- London. It was a

McQueen Shoreditch – London

I have played at Mcqueen Shoreditch  a few times now and really enjoy it and they have now asked me to DJ in a regular slot in 2018 which is great news. London Xmas Party – Aviary Roof Top

London Xmas Party - Aviary Roof Top. I got to play at the top of the Montcalm Royal London House in Finsbury Square, London in the Aviary Roof Top bar This amazing venue has views to impress and because of the clever igloo rooms outside on the rooftop itself no reason to be cold or wet. With over 250 people all ready for  a festive party this turned into a really enjoyable corporate event.   With it being Christmas, I played a

Sportball at the Park Lane Hilton – London

The SportsBall is SportsAid's annual gala charity dinner, raising money for the next generation of British athletes. This event was held in the Park Lane Hilton in London and I was the main entertainment, DJing for three and half hours. Attended previously by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, SportsAid's Patron, and with the charity celebrating its 40th anniversary, the SportsBallTM 2017 is reaching higher and making more of a difference to young sports people than ever before. SportsAid helps the next generation

Blondie in London

I was lucky enough to get invited to the Blondie concert at the O2 in Brixton. Not only that I was given backstage passes by the bands drummer Clem Burke, who I am pictured with below: From the when 80's star Debbie Harry and the band launched into their set with the new wave classic ‘One Way or Another’ from 1978’s Parallel Lines, the crowd at the sold out Brixton Academy were whipped into a jubilant fever, something the band

Evolution – Battersea Park, London

I was delighted to be asked to be part of an event to raise money for the Doddie Weir Trust. The evening was for 2000 plus people to have a night of fun and entertainment to raise money for the trust. In the audience where over 120 Rugby International players like Jonny Wilkinson and industry leaders and celebrities. Hosted by Gabby Logan and Rory Bremner, it was a real fun night. I played 2 45 minute sets which went down

Stoke Newington – 50th Birthday

Stoke Newington - I played in a great party venue a few weeks back called the Old Church in Stoke Newington, London. The occasion was a 50th birthday and the requested music was 80's and more of the New Romantic style from that time frame. The building lent itself to uplighting as this really brought out its features. I also showed images from 1967 news reals as this was the date that the birthday couple had been born in.

Tower Bridge, London – 80’s Party

Tower Bridge, London - I get to play at all sorts of venues in both in the Uk and abroad, but the walkway in Tower Bridge has got to be one of the most unusual. I followed on from an amazing Indian Tabla band, with a Haircut One Hundred 80's playlist (the 40th birthday girl was a big Nick Heywood fan). This was an 80's Party like no other I had played at, the glass floor 42 metres above the River

Hyde Park – London

Hyde Park London - On 7th Oct, I DJ'd in Hyde Park for Great Ormond Street Hospital, I think its such an important charity to support. The event was a fun run and attracted over 4,000 entrants, which meant I was DJing to about 10,000 people. On stage with me at the beginning was Vernon Kay who went on to take part in the race itself.     The team at Great Ormond Street - London seemed happy with what I
