House music, is a style of electronic dance music that was established by dance club DJs in Chicago that were influenced by mid-1970s dance music as played by DJs in New York, and spread to Detroit, New York, and eventually Europe. House music is strongly influenced by fundamentals of the early to mid 1970s soul- and funk-infused dance music chic of disco. House  takes disco’s use of a prominent bass drum on every beat and created a new style by mixing in a heavy electronic synthesizer bassline, electronic drums, electronic effects, funk and pop samples, and reverb- or delay-enhanced vocals.

Surrey Pool Party

Pool Party - I was asked to DJ at a rather cool Pool Party after the organiser had seen me play at some local clubs and bars. The brief was to start with a nice chilled set, building the tempo over 5 hours. I started at 16.00 and this video was taken just as it got dark and most people had got out of the pool. I was accompanied by two dancers and there was a CO2 Cannon helping

Cotswolds wedding

Cotswolds wedding - Cripps Barn was the venue for this wedding in the Cotswolds and what a wedding it turned out to be. I was joined by Andre on Sax who had flown in from Marbella that afternoon, we worked really well together and that helped make the party go with a swing. The venue (Cripps Barn) is one of the best I have played in.... Great Sound system, staff, food and its the right size too. [/fusion_youtube]
