Stoke Newington - I played in a great party venue a few weeks back called the Old Church in Stoke Newington, London. The occasion was a 50th birthday and the requested music was 80's and more of the New Romantic style from that time frame. The building lent itself to uplighting as this really brought out its features. I also showed images from 1967 news reals as this was the date that the birthday couple had been born in.
Garden Party - The client was in films having played roles in James Bond and Star Wars and came from a family of actors, the party was in the garden of their Lonon home with a great chef producing delicious canapés for a few hours, a gin bar and waiting staff. The clients for this 50th Birthday party really went to town with this brilliant Fancy Dress party. They managed to squeeze a marquee into the back garden of a 3 floor London Victorian Villa in Battersea and take their guests back to the time of Poldark. My brief was to play older tunes with a modern twist which was achieved by the playlist below and the client very happy "Thanks a lot for doing such a fantastic job" It was great
