2017 Queens Cup After Party

We moved back to the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club for this years Queens Cup After Party. Guests started arriving from Guards where the Cartier Queens Cup had been held from 18.00 and by 20.00 we already had over 300 people with even more turning up later. The crowd was the usual mix of polo players, grooms and party people and the music I played reflected this. Also impacting on the music was the weather, the temperature was way

2017 Opening Party for the UK Polo Season

The promoter wanted to try something different for this years Opening Party for the UK Polo Season, rather than a nightclub and a start of 10.00pm on a Sunday evening he wanted to go for a smaller venue and an early start. When we met for the site visit I was very impressed with the layout of Westcroft Polo clubs facilities and felt that I could quite easily turn the venue into a pumping little party venue. On the night I used

18th Party at Guards Polo Club

I had the pleasure of DJing again at Guards Polo Club last week for an 18th Birthday Party. The music requested was the type you would hear on Saturday Night Kiss and the sound system and lighting reflected this with many effects you would find in nightclub. The young lady who's party it was wrote to me the next day to say "Thank-you for last night, the music and lights were great, everybody is talking about it" Video of lighting

Queens Cup Polo Parties

Sunday 14th June saw me DJing in Guards Polo club members lounge after the prestigious Cartier Queens Cup Polo Final. One of the biggest polo tournaments in the world, this 22-goal competition attracts the world's best players. Sponsored by Cartier since 2012, the finals day on Sunday 14 June offers a wonderful combination of fantastic sport and elegant hospitality. This year 12 impressive teams, including six 10-goalers, will be in action for three weeks in mid summer. HM The Queen

Polo – Arena Gold Cup After Party 2015

I was asked to play at the Royal Berkshire Polo Club a few weeks back at the highlight of the Arena Polo’s calendar “The Arena Gold Cup After Party 2015" Marking the end of the day’s celebrations, the Arena Gold Cup After Party 2015 celebrates the end of this prestigious tournament & hails the last moments of the winter polo season. Following this year’s sumptuous Asian influenced lunch, from Belgravia’s "Salmontini le Resto”, the nights music will be provided by

Rock the Polo

The Royal Holloway Polo Society held its annual Rock the Polo event at Ash Farm Polo Club this year. I have played regularly (as a DJ not on a horse) at Ash Farm, so was delighted to be asked to DJ. The night started with chart music and then when the very exciting exhibition polo match was played some chilled background music. It was then straight into a more upbeat tracks as the dance floor filled up. Here are a few

10th International Polo After Party

After Party.......Following on from the England V Argentina Polo match for the impressive Coronation Cup on Saturday 26 July The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club held an After Party from 18.00 until 03.00, this event was hosted by the Rocksalt Group, who have venues in Esher and Ascot. Argentina won the game pouncing on England’s mistakes at Guards Polo Club to run away with the Coronation Cup 13-8 in the biggest international match of the English polo season. I played

Queens Cup Polo After Party

This years Queens Cup Polo After Party was well attended after a close game at Guards Polo Club. Zacara retained the high-goal Cartier Queen's Cup at Guards Polo Club in a scrappy, highly tactical affair, easing away to a lead of 9-4 in the fifth chukka when they put the game all but out of reach of Talandracas. Zacara patron Lyndon Lea stepped forward to receive the trophy from HM The Queen on a blustery, overcast afternoon, the favourites having

Happy Days Festival

Its a while since my last blog, this has mainly been due to how busy I have been. Last weekend consisted of Saturday at the NY Bar in Cobham for the night I promote called Club 80 which is a night of original and remixed tracks you would have heard in a club in the eighties. On the Sunday it was of to Club 1 in Ascot, where I was booked to DJ at the Polo seasons opening party. A
