The events had always worked well in the Home Counties for the big games this would interesting to see if would have the same success 100 miles from home. The team from Cirencester where very switched on and between us we were active on social media to

Queens Cup Polo After Party – Club 1 Ascot

This was the first Big Polo After Party of the season and it was really well attended, with all the booths sold out in Club 1. The promoter had not used this venue for a while, and they came up trumps on the day and helped us put on a great night of music and fun.   RAYE, Mr Eazi - Decline (Official Video) Unforgettable (David S Big Poppa Intro) [Intro Clean] French Montana

Happy Days Festival

Its a while since my last blog, this has mainly been due to how busy I have been. Last weekend consisted of Saturday at the NY Bar in Cobham for the night I promote called Club 80 which is a night of original and remixed tracks you would have heard in a club in the eighties. On the Sunday it was of to Club 1 in Ascot, where I was booked to DJ at the Polo seasons opening party. A

Xmas preperation

All the nights have only just started to draw in, I have been actively working on my Xmas schedule. New years eve has already been booked by Hush in Mayfair as a result of the succesful evening I had with them last year. This Wednesday, I have a meeting with an entertainment agency who are looking to put me in 4 to 5 star hotels in the run up to Xmas. My club work is also on the up, so

Different ends of the Spectrum

On Sat night, I played at a party from 20.00 till 11.30 then drove to Vanilla in Windosr and DJ'd from 01.00 till 03.00 in front of 750 including two promotors who had come to see me. Weds night played to 70 handicapped people mainly in wheelchairs. Put a smile on the face of both crowds, but played very contrasting sets www.spectrumdisco-dj.co.uk

Wedding in Laleham Park

This weekend, I DJ'd at a lovely wedding in Laleham Park, Surrey. 200 people, lovely weather and an unusual setting, made for a great time. The location was right in the middle of the Park football pitch with the chairs outside and me playing motown love songs as the guests arrived. When the Bride walked down the aisle her sister sang a Sade number to her and I played Signed Sealed Delivered. I also took photos of the blessing and

Polo Gold Cup

On Sunday night, I was the DJ at the Polo Gold Cup after party. 200 for dinner plus another 100 more in the evening, so plenty of people to entertain. This is a very mixed crowd and and this is reflected in the playlist. (below) I tried to get Ableton synced with Traktor, but was not happy with the result. Looks like for now it will be Traktor for DJing and Traktor for playing live. Still trying to get my
