To put your mind at rest, here are a few reviews the first is one I was involved with at Coworth Park Ascot recently…..

Wedding DJ London reviews

“My husband and I chose Paul to DJ at our wedding after finding his details online (he had played at our venue a few times too). We were worried about picking a DJ as our two main worries about our big day were RAIN and an EMPTY dancefloor. We needn’t have worried!! Paul was professional and extremely helpful right from the start. I can honestly say that of all my wedding suppliers (and there were a lot), he answered any queries I had the most promptly.

On the wedding day we were running behind schedule a bit but Paul was really adaptable. He played some chill out music for our evening guests which created just the right pre-party atmosphere. When it was time to get the party started Paul delivered in a big way. Our dancefloor was busy all night! He played a good mix of tracks throughout the night and managed to keep everybody happy, and more importantly, dancing! I would highly recommend Paul for a wedding or event and would definitely use him again.”

“When looking for someone to DJ at your wedding, it is always a risk when you have no recommendations or personal experience…so I took to the internet, which can be even more risky….not so with Paul ( Spectrum ) ! Pauls details were one of the top results & I gave him a call to discuss our requirements. Paul soon put me at ease that he would supply the right atmosphere & gauge the mood by giving examples of where he had ‘played’ so I booked! On the evening he was excellent, working initially with a wedding singer & then once the singer left, he ensured the music played perfectly fitted the age group & genre of music to keep people on the floor. Highly recommended & I would book this guy without hesitation for any future party or event we needed a DJ If you’re looking for a great DJ, this guy will not disappoint”

And here are a few more……..

“What can we say.. Paul is a genius. He played at our Wedding in the Cotswolds this September with a theme of cool 80s / ibiza / Glitter box / stuff for the older people / bit of tech house for us later on and he DELIVERED!! It worked so well and was seamless with every banger we asked for and all of what he decided thrown in, which was perfect. Aside for being a track genius he is just the most professional proactive safe pair of hands – just what you want on your wedding day. We didn’t have to worry about anything to do with the music / set up / flow. He dealt with all of it. He played all day from 1pm – 1am including dance floor sets with our amazing Sax man. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much Paul you were amazing we want another party just we can have you DJ again! X”

Cotswolds Wedding

“We used Paul for our wedding in Umbria and he was absolutely brilliant! From the outset, he was very easy to work with – responsive to our emails, polite and accommodating.

We wanted to include a very wide-ranging repertoire, covering all sorts of genres from Persian and Jewish music to garage, indie to house. He did all of this effortlessly!

We had initially agreed for Paul to play for 4 hours but we extended without hesitation for an extra 1.5 hour (until 3.30 am!) as we all wanted to continue partying to his music! The next day, he played at our pool party which went down a treat as well. We all had so much fun dancing to his music! Paul clearly loves what he does and this comes through in his performance.

We would recommend Paul without hesitation.”

West London Wedding – Drayton Court

West London Wedding - If your idea of a good wedding is reception is one of fun and dancing all night then you could not go far wrong by copying the example of the lovely couple I DJ'd for recently. They wanted a party so they invited people to the reception who liked to party, with the bride being Irish and the Groom Scottish they did not have far to look. Another very important factor for the success of the night was the number of people they invited to the evening 170, the capacity of the venue. The choice of venue was a big help to the success of the evening http://draytoncourtlondon.co.uk/ The Drayton Court is one of few venue in West London to offer a large, beautifully decorated function room with a

Hall Place Berkshire – Wedding

Hall Place Berkshire Wedding - I played for the first time at Hall Place in Berkshire and I hope its not the last as it is a great venue with lovely staff http://www.hallplace.co.uk/ The bride and groom had requested a funky start with chart music later in the evening. Here is a video of the bride and bridesmaid dancing to "Relight my Fire" https://youtu.be/y9JcpNM_iRY And here is the playlist: Title Artist Pick Up The Pieces Bass Funk You Make Loving Fun FIRST DANCE Fleetwood Mac Play That Funky Music Wild Cherry Superstition Stevie Wonder Uptown Funk Mark Ronson feat. Wedding at Burrows Lea Country House

I recently DJ'd at a wedding in the lovely Burrows Lea Country House situated in the lovely Surrey Hills, just down the road from Shere. I would recommend this venue for both its location and also the staff who were very attentive. It really was a wedding of two parts with a typical middle of the road start with a more clubby finnish as requested. This can be seen from the difference in the two videos and the play list. so if you need a DJ in Surrey, give me a call.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeCbcBg9sds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn1gjiT-Vjo And here is the play list: PLAY Shirley Bassey - If You Go Away (Original Mix) Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi Metanym John Foxx The Sun Dreamer [Mambo Mix]/Ma Fuego Dolce cold night Airstream Whispering Wind Moby

Hungarian Wedding in Wimbledon

I was asked to play at a Hungarian Wedding in Wimbledon recently.. The venue was the lovely Wimbledon Park Golf Club a 1930's art deco building. Highlight was the bridal dance where the groom sits on a chair by the dance floor with a bucket covered with a towel and the guests place money in the bucket to get a chance to dance with the blushing bride. It was a lot more fun than it sounds as you can see from the video. The music was a mix of Hungarian and UK with (at the couples request) plenty of funk and Hip Hop. Hong Kong Style wedding with R&B / Hiphop music

Recently I was asked to DJ and play R&B / Hip Hop at a wedding in Froyle Park near Alton, Hampshire. The bride and groom both originated from Hong Kong as did many of the 180 guests. The wedding breakfast was very traditional with some of the speeches being made in Chinese this was followed by the tea ceremony which historically serves as a means for both parties to meet with each other. As Chinese families can be large, and there may be one or two hundred people, it is possible during a courtship to not have been introduced to someone  in the new family. This was particularly true in older generations where the patriarch may have had more than one wife and not all family members were always on good terms. As such,

Wedding – two cultures one family

Wedding - I had the pleasure of playing at the wedding of an Iranian girl to a Scottish lad at the weekend. All the males in the wedding party where dressed in kilts irrespective of which country they were from, likewise the bridesmaids all danced a traditional knife dance prior to cutting the cake. I played a mixture of 90's and current music along with some Scottish and Iranian tracks. It was great to see a full dance floor all night and everybody enjoying the others culture. This what the bride had to say the next day: "Hi Paul Thank you so much for everything you did. We had an amazing time and we had so many great comments about you." The venue was Woodlands Park Hotel in the lovely Surrey

London – Mayfair Wedding

I recently was DJ at a Wedding in the lovely Dartmouth House of Mayfair in London, playing in the Churchill Room (named after the man himself who was president of the private member’s club that still meets there today) As you can see from the photo’s the venue is absolutely stunning. The guests arrived in an old Routemaster double decker bus and at the end of the evening the happy couple where driven the 100 yards to the Ritz for their Honeymoon. My brief was to play a mixture of Motown and classic rock... The night was a great success, so much so the bride e-mailed me on the Monday “Hi Paul, Bongiorno from Rome! Just a quick note to say thank you so much for Saturday - we had a

Same sex wedding – Sean and Ben get married

Only 6 weeks in to the year and my 3rd same sex wedding of 2015. The reception was at the lovely Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park with spectacular views over the Thames Valley to the west. Richmond Park is the largest, and to many, the most beautiful Park in London as it comprises of 2300 acres of totally unspoilt classic English parkland with some 650 deer who roam freely in this tranquil setting. Pembroke Lodge is set within 11 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. The night had a funky disco feel to it with a bit of Motown and Northern Soul and the dance floor was full all night..... http://youtu.be/Mt597tnN-EU Here is the play list Title Artist That's The Way (I Like It) KC And The Sunshine Band Morcheeba - 02 -
