Saturday 5th July saw me DJing at Pangbourne College at the Founders Day Ball. There were speeches from Rear Admiral Roger Lane-Nott and the guest of Honour Nigel Haywood, the Governor of the Falkland Islands. I was had quite an interesting brief, follow on from the speeches and get everyone dancing for the last 2 hours. Quite a challenge, there was no warm up, no real visual clues as the guests where wearing ball gowns and black tie. It went, end of speeches release smoke, fire up lazers, queue music, draw back stage curtains and dance……
