Oxford Wedding - What a day and night it turned out for the couple. They had decided on Merriscourt  as the venue and it was in every perfect for the couple who are very active on the Polo circuit. They had 125 sit down and another 50 evening guests made for some party and those Polo players know how to party........... Here is the official wedding Video Man On The Moon R.E.M. Wedding at The Wharf, Teddington, London

This was my first time playing at The Wharf in Teddington, London, although I had been there as a customer several times and always enjoyed myself. This was a real family wedding, with something for everyone. A childrens disco before the first dance and party games as well. The playlist was varied to suit all ages and was a hit with the groom who messaged me the next day: Hi Paul. Thank you so much everyone had an amazing time.

Festival Weddings

I got to DJ at an amazing festival wedding a few weeks back. It had everything, from fire pits to hog roasts and chocolate fountains and with over 250 guests it really was a fun occasion. Musically, I played at the ceremony and then some chilled background music during the wedding breakfast, till the band started. They played wedding favourites and I followed on with some funk and disco till midnight, from midnight till 02.00 it was more orientated to

Middle of the road Wedding

Middle of the road wedding - Weddings tend to bring together family and friends of all ages and musical tastes, so a middle of the road playlist is often required and can be enormous fun. This is what the bride had to say, the day after her wedding........ Hi Paul Just wanted to say thank you for playing a great set on our wedding evening.  We thoroughly enjoyed it and you kept the dance floor full right until the end!

Cornwall wedding

Cornwall Wedding  Cornwall wedding at Trevanna a converted farm. The celebrations were over 3 days and I played at the wedding party in the evening and the BBQ the next day. Most people had driven up from Surrey and there were two couples whose wedding I had played at on the guest list. This was a real fun bunch and out of 130 attending 100 were friends of the bride and groom so it was a real party. Fun

Multinational wedding at the Lensbury – London

London Wedding - Lovely sunny weekend for the wedding at the Lensbury and this normally means a fairly chilled evening till the temperature drops. Not so for this wedding, having 300 guests and a free bar obviously helped in getting the party going from the first dance. The guests had flown in from all over the world and everybody was in a tuxedo or gown there were two wedding cakes and even doves.... It really was a fun day as you

Indie Dance wedding – Virginia Waters

Played at a great wedding on Saturday, the music they wanted was chilled during the wedding breakfast and then Indie Dance for the party afterwards. The venue was a lovely house in Virginia waters complete with pond and its own swimming pool and the guest where a mixture of Farmers and lawyers so a very demanding crowd. In the words of the groom this is how they felt it went.... "Thank you so much for yesterday- you made a huge

The Benefits of Hiring a Smaller Wedding Venue

The Benefits of Hiring a Smaller Venue I’m not sure when the trend for giant weddings kicked off but now it seems like there’s no way to get out of throwing a massive do. Food vans, sweet tables, even carnival rides; it seems like the only way to fit everything in is to hire out a football field. Despite our obsession with ‘bigger being better’ there are a lot of perks to refrain from hiring carnival dancers and instead dialling

Frensham Ponds Wedding

Frensham Ponds -  I played at a wedding in Millbridge Court, by Frensham Ponds last weekend, my first time at this venue and hopefully not the last. Really interesting and well laid out building for a wedding with two rooms one for dining and the other the entertainment. The Bride and groom wanted a mixture of 80's 90's and current with a bit of club music in there too. The Groom messaged me the next morning to say "Thanks for
