Wedding venues are back open
Wedding venues are back open after being closed for over 18 months, which means lots of wedding previously cancelled, plus current weddings are all going ahead. The feelings at the weddings I have played at since Lockdown have been one of great celebration and fun.....long may it continue. Back at Putney Pies – House Party
House party - Finally on 23rd July, I got to play back in a club again and the past 18 months became just a bad dream..... What better place to play than Putney Pies where the likes of Jon sa Trinxa fly in to London just to play there. I was over the moon to be the first DJ to play post covid and the evening did not disappoint. The emphasis to the crowd is on fun with an eclectic range of music from Balearic Latin Vibes to Defected Bangers and beyond and the expected packed house was there early unfortunately - nearly 200 were turned away.........
40th 90’s Party – London after Lockdown
40th 90's Party -With Lockdown almost over the parties are starting to happen again. This was a small scale event of 30 people an the theme was 90's music and historical fancy dress and was in the Gothic building on Wandsworth common in the restaurant Le Gothic London's original gastro in the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building. The result was a great night for all and a message from the party girl first thing the next day saying... "You were absolutely fab! Surrey Hills Wedding (first after lockdown)
Surrey Hills Wedding - First wedding after Lockdown was always going to be difficult, its was 17 months since I had last played at one. However as somebody said to me, its like riding a bike and they were right..... I got to the venue a beautiful location on a private farm in the Surrey Hills and the set-up was awesome. Post Lockdown Party for 30
Lockdown - At last we are able to party together in groups of 30 outside (which right now seems like a lot of people after only being with 4 in the house for so long) The feeling of being able to play to people and give enjoyment is something I have missed and am looking forward to better times this summer and beyond.
