90’s DJ
90’s DJ – When it comes to 90’s nights I have plenty of ideas for a great evening of entertainment. Having played alongside 90’s Party and dance music legends such as Groove Armada, Brandon Block, Lisa Loud, the chaps from Clockwork Orange, Sister Bliss from Faithless, Jazzy B of Soul 2 Soul, MC Luck and DJ Neat, Express 2 and the Hoxton Whores as well as cool DJ’s such as Chris Sullivan from the Wag club and Howard Hill from Pikes in Ibiza, I know what it takes to get the night moving and what 90’s club music to play and the 90’s music culture that goes with it.

“Thanks for making it a cracking party, music was spot on, loads of neighbours round the area loved the tunes”
Cameron Leslie – Director of Fabric (Private Party)
Being in close proximity to London and the home counties means that I get the opportunity to play in the coolest venues both private and public a, such as The Ministry, McQueen in Shoreditch Where I am a resident DJ, Putney Pies with a monthly slot, Hush Mayfair, 93 Feet East, Aures, The Rat Bar and Broadway House to name just a few. I am happy to play to the crowd and drop tunes from House, Indie or Hip-hop, plus a few chart tracks – basically, whatever it takes to ensure its an enjoyable night. Don’t take my word for it, have a look at the people dancing in the videos below to see how much fun it is….
“the 90’s music was the best I have had for years, my feet are still hurting….” “Brilliant night ! Most I’ve ever danced on one glass of Prosecco and a 12 hour shift. Best parties ever.Com” “Fantastic night, don’t think I have ever danced so much. Great music Paul”
If you are looking for a 90’s DJ to play dance music or a house night then I won’t disappoint. I have played all over Europe and beyond including Ibiza and Mainland Spain, Belgium, Zanzibar, Bali, Italy and Cyprus in 2018 as well as festivals and events across the UK.
Whatever kind of event you are having, the music needs to be applicable for the audience and the occasion. I will tailor the music to your requirements and make sure you get the entertainment you want.
“House Culture said about Paul – we sit down with some of the most iconic characters from the scene (of 18 people that included the likes of Fatboy Slim, Terry Farley and Danny Clockwork – Paul Linney is a resident DJ at Pikes Hotel in Ibiza and one of the hardest working DJs in the business. Whilst he might not quite have the name recognition he deserves, Paul has played gigs to clued up clubbers all over the world alongside his corporate work at events like the after-parties of the National Television Awards”
Nineties nights are becoming extremely popular – from teens to late 40yr olds and beyond. Get involved in the fun and Spectrum nineties is the perfect choice to bring your 90s theme night to life! Here is link to a recent 90’s Party I did for a 40th birthday and another with a classic 90’s house music playlist at a 90’s Rave on an Essex Farm.
More recently when Renault wanted to celebrate 20 years of the Clio, they had a two day nineties party at a pop-up site in Holborn and I DJ’d for 2 whole days and nights playing nothing but tunes from that era……
Unlike most other eras, the notion of 90s music is hard to pin down. Oddball and eclectic, the decade defies easy categorisation, but it’s this cross-pollination of sounds that left a boundary-breaking legacy that remains today.
”Thanks so much for last night. The messages are already rolling in about how good the music was, apologies if in my over-lubricated state I was going on about what to play, you kept people dancing all night which is what I wanted. Thank you.”
Nineties themes are becoming all the rage as corporate events, they are the new eighties……
There is some amazing music from the 90s from House to Indie along with Rap and Big Beat, they really make for a great night of partying. Here is a link demonstrates the variety of 90’s parties I have played at. It is real mix of genres with Indie bands were going to raves and dance events all the time and this was reflected in the music. Electronic music using new instruments was very big and being promoted by artists such as Paul Oakenfold and Sacha.
“Your work the other night was brilliant, I’m no aficionado, but that was the best music and mixing I’ve ever heard. You truly worked the room , the only shame was you were in the corner so not everyone could see you working your magic”
Britpop had revitalised rock, and an unprecedented explosion in dance music – sparked off by a second consecutive sunny and idyllic Glastonbury – transformed how Britain thought, listened, partied and came down afterwards. I can help to rekindle those times, with an Old Skool Music party. Its not just about Now that’s what I call music 90
Nineties tunes are in high demand especially for 40th and 50th birthday parties as people want to relive their youth for a few hours capturing that special moment at a rave or in the university bar. I can provide up to a massive 8000 watt JBL Sound system with an enormous bass sound along with lazers and smoke to really take you back in time.
