Paul Linney the DJ – Podacst: Absolutely made up to be joining the likes of Fatboy Slim and Dawn Hindle as one of this years House Culture monthly Podcast subjects.
They approached me after my set at Pikes last September…….. that party went on to win best one-off event on the island for 2019 beating Solomun at the port into second place.
“018: Paul Linney. Paul Linney is a resident DJ at Pikes Hotel in Ibiza and one of the hardest working DJs in the business. Whilst he might not quite have the name recognition he deserves, Paul has played gigs to clued up clubbers all over the world alongside his corporate work at events like the after-parties of the National Television Awards. Deciding late on in life to pursue a career in music means Paul’s story is a fascinating one that has been powered by the love of the beat and an instinctive feel for the dancefloor. We delve into all of this and also discover how house music literally saved his life.”

Started by two friends who first met on a dance floor in Shoreditch as strangers in 2012, and kept bumping into each other at different events across London over the next few years, House Culture is a platform that aims to showcase the music and culture that brought these two friends and so many other people across the world together – House Music Culture.

With a shared love for music, art, and having a good old boogie, the idea for House Culture was born before a night out at London’s Ministry of Sound, where the two co-founders decided that they wanted to share their passion for house music with the world.

The platform, like the culture, is all-encompassing and showcases everything from past to present, disco to techno, and everything in-between. House Culture is a spiritual thing, a soul thing, and simply a culture shared by a community of friends, strangers and neighbours on the dance floor all over the world.
