Ibiza Wedding – Have you ever considered having your wedding in Ibiza? There is so much going for it. Ibiza is one of the Balearic Islands, an archipelago of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. It’s well known for the energetic nightlife in Ibiza Town and San Antoni but Ibiza is not just about the nightlife, it’s a magical place with some amazing locations for a wedding. You could hire a villa near one the amazing Ibiza beaches such as Cala Conta a varied beach that features a rocky coastline, sand dunes and a hidden area.
Or better still why not hire a Ibiza wedding venue such as Can Gall is a typical Ibizan country house (finca) which is more than 200 years old, located in the north and has been completely restored whilst maintaining its original charm. You will find their rooms authentically decadent, with the emphasis on comfort to the highest quality. Many of the venues on the island are Agroturismo which means that you have seclusion and a venue that blends in with the beautiful countryside.

You can use one of the many wedding planners on the island catering for all your wedding needs and ensuring you and your guests have the perfect time.
If you want something a bit livelier, you could do no worse than stay at Pikes, the location for Wham’s “Club Tropicana” video and the famous Freddy Mercury parties (which are still being held even after his passing)
There are some very picturesque churches on Ibiza one of my favourites is the church in San Carlos where the priest speaks Spanish and English which really helps with the arrangements and smooth running of the day.
So who should you book for your DJ?? I have DJ’d at weddings on the island and have played in the beach bars on Playa D’en Bossa as well as at the club in the famous Es-Vive hotel. Clients book me for my ability to play a set that not only has that Ibiza vibe, but that contains tunes that all the guests will appreciate more Jon sa Trinxa than Hardwell….
Its going to be an interesting time on the island, with the new Hi Ibiza club located opposite Ushuaia (formally Space). Pacha has also changed hands so expect lots of changes there too. Don’t’ forget the amazing beach bars and restaurants such as Amante and Beach House and also the smaller clubs such Underground and Cova Santa or the Zoo project.
