“My husband and I chose Paul to DJ at our wedding after finding his details online (he had played at our venue a few times too). We were worried about picking a DJ as our two main worries about our big day were RAIN and an EMPTY dancefloor. We needn’t have worried!! Paul was professional and extremely helpful right from the start. I can honestly say that of all my wedding suppliers (and there were a lot), he answered any queries I had the most promptly.
On the wedding day we were running behind schedule a bit but Paul was really adaptable. He played some chill out music for our evening guests which created just the right pre-party atmosphere. When it was time to get the party started Paul delivered in a big way. Our dancefloor was busy all night! He played a good mix of tracks throughout the night and managed to keep everybody happy, and more importantly, dancing! I would highly recommend Paul for a wedding or event and would definitely use him again.”
“When looking for someone to DJ at your wedding, it is always a risk when you have no recommendations or personal experience…so I took to the internet, which can be even more risky….not so with Paul ( Spectrum ) ! Pauls details were one of the top results & I gave him a call to discuss our requirements. He played at our Wedding in the Cotswolds this September with a theme of cool 80s / ibiza / Glitter box / stuff for the older people / bit of tech house for us later on and he DELIVERED!! It worked so well and was seamless with every banger we asked for and all of what he decided thrown in, which was perfect. Aside for being a track genius he is just the most professional proactive safe pair of hands – just what you want on your wedding day. We didn’t have to worry about anything to do with the music / set up / flow. He dealt with all of it. He played all day from 1pm – 1am including dance floor sets with our amazing Sax man. Cotswolds Wedding
“We used Paul for our wedding in Umbria and he was absolutely brilliant! From the outset, he was very easy to work with – responsive to our emails, polite and accommodating.
We wanted to include a very wide-ranging repertoire, covering all sorts of genres from Persian and Jewish music to garage, indie to house. He did all of this effortlessly!
We had initially agreed for Paul to play for 4 hours but we extended without hesitation for an extra 1.5 hour (until 3.30 am!) as we all wanted to continue partying to his music! The next day, he played at our pool party which went down a treat as well. We all had so much fun dancing to his music! Paul clearly loves what he does and this comes through in his performance.

NYE Wedding Surrey
This is the first time I have played at a wedding on NYE, so was not too sure what to expect. I should not have worried, there were 150 guests all in the party mood. The Bride and Groom had asked for a wedding celebration to begin with, based on soul and motown plus a bit of spanish and indie. The last couple of hours where to be a proper NYE cheese party, and that is what they got. In the words of the bride...... @PaulLinneyDJ you helped make it perfect! Pennyhill Park Wedding at Xmas
I love Xmas weddings and this one was no exception. The venue was Pennyhill Park in Surrey base for the English Rugby team when they are training an a great place for a quiet family wedding, which is just what this was. I was booked to play for the pre-wedding drinks, the ceremony itself, post wedding drinks, wedding breakfast and then the wedding disco in the evening. This involved 2 set-ups across 3 different rooms. With only 22 guests it meant song choice was vitaly important to keep the day flowing. Bermondsey wedding celebration party
I was asked to DJ at a same sex wedding celebration party at the amazing BSC in Bermondsey London . This venue I would recommend to anyone wanting a late night party location with its own sound system, the staff where amazing and location perfectly out of the way with plenty of parking, unusual in central London to say the least. My brief for this event was for 80's disco music hardening it up later while remembering it was a wedding celebration of the couple who recently got married in Las Vegas. There was quite a mixed crowd, but by 12.00 the party was going full steam and there were still plenty dancing at 02.30 when we finished. Fairytale wedding at Fulham Palace
Fulham Palace wedding - Fulham Palace is such an amazing place for a fairy tale wedding that really comes into its own when the courtyard is all decorated with coloured lights that reflect off the fountain in its middle. My bride and groom choose very traditional wedding music to accompany the tunes played by the very talented Hullabaloo for a Ceilidh - which is a Gaelic social gathering with folk music and dancing and occurred in Scotland and Ireland. They were the main opportunities for the young people to meet, court and choose future marriage partners. Hullabaloo lead the way with two sets and during the break I played some indie tunes with a special meaning for the bride and groom. After this it was party time and the dance floor stayed full
Weybridge Wedding
Weybridge wedding - Recently I DJ'd at a Weybridge wedding, where the brief was to start off with a bit of funk and Motown and then some standard wedding tunes. Later in the evening a bit of speed garage and then on to some more upbeat dance tracks. As you can see from the video plenty of people were up and dancing...... Hidden Barn Hungerford - Wedding. Hidden Barn Hungerford is an amazing rustic venue that can be hired dry (that means all the staffing is down to the bride and groom and this means reduced costs and more guests) As you can see from the photos the venue is stunning. Having the extra guests helps with the party and the acoustics of the building are amazing, so much so Florence and the machine recorded some of their tracks there..... The happy couple did not want their Hidden Barn Hungerford Wedding to be too commercial, but more funky and 90's and this is reflected in the play list. Silent Disco in Kent
Silent Disco - I DJ'd at the joint 50th and 21st at the lovely home of the current Sheriff of Kent. They wanted the party to go on till 03.00, but at the same time did not want to upset the neighbours. So, the answer was to use my PA until midnight then switch to the silent disco after that. There was 300 people and a real cross section of ages and as you can see the Silent Disco went down really well, with the event planner telling me the next day that her clients where over the moon with my set.....
