To put your mind at rest, here are a few reviews the first is one I was involved with at Coworth Park Ascot recently…..

Wedding DJ London reviews

“My husband and I chose Paul to DJ at our wedding after finding his details online (he had played at our venue a few times too). We were worried about picking a DJ as our two main worries about our big day were RAIN and an EMPTY dancefloor. We needn’t have worried!! Paul was professional and extremely helpful right from the start. I can honestly say that of all my wedding suppliers (and there were a lot), he answered any queries I had the most promptly.

On the wedding day we were running behind schedule a bit but Paul was really adaptable. He played some chill out music for our evening guests which created just the right pre-party atmosphere. When it was time to get the party started Paul delivered in a big way. Our dancefloor was busy all night! He played a good mix of tracks throughout the night and managed to keep everybody happy, and more importantly, dancing! I would highly recommend Paul for a wedding or event and would definitely use him again.”

“When looking for someone to DJ at your wedding, it is always a risk when you have no recommendations or personal experience…so I took to the internet, which can be even more risky….not so with Paul ( Spectrum ) ! Pauls details were one of the top results & I gave him a call to discuss our requirements. Paul soon put me at ease that he would supply the right atmosphere & gauge the mood by giving examples of where he had ‘played’ so I booked! On the evening he was excellent, working initially with a wedding singer & then once the singer left, he ensured the music played perfectly fitted the age group & genre of music to keep people on the floor. Highly recommended & I would book this guy without hesitation for any future party or event we needed a DJ If you’re looking for a great DJ, this guy will not disappoint”

And here are a few more……..

“What can we say.. Paul is a genius. He played at our Wedding in the Cotswolds this September with a theme of cool 80s / ibiza / Glitter box / stuff for the older people / bit of tech house for us later on and he DELIVERED!! It worked so well and was seamless with every banger we asked for and all of what he decided thrown in, which was perfect. Aside for being a track genius he is just the most professional proactive safe pair of hands – just what you want on your wedding day. We didn’t have to worry about anything to do with the music / set up / flow. He dealt with all of it. He played all day from 1pm – 1am including dance floor sets with our amazing Sax man. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much Paul you were amazing we want another party just we can have you DJ again! X”

Cotswolds Wedding

“We used Paul for our wedding in Umbria and he was absolutely brilliant! From the outset, he was very easy to work with – responsive to our emails, polite and accommodating.

We wanted to include a very wide-ranging repertoire, covering all sorts of genres from Persian and Jewish music to garage, indie to house. He did all of this effortlessly!

We had initially agreed for Paul to play for 4 hours but we extended without hesitation for an extra 1.5 hour (until 3.30 am!) as we all wanted to continue partying to his music! The next day, he played at our pool party which went down a treat as well. We all had so much fun dancing to his music! Paul clearly loves what he does and this comes through in his performance.

We would recommend Paul without hesitation.”

Wedding at Burrows Lea Country House

I recently DJ'd at a wedding in the lovely Burrows Lea Country House situated in the lovely Surrey Hills, just down the road from Shere. I would recommend this venue for both its location and also the staff who were very attentive. It really was a wedding of two parts with a typical middle of the road start with a more clubby finnish as requested. This can be seen from the difference in the two videos and the play list. so if you need a DJ in Surrey, give me a call.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeCbcBg9sds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn1gjiT-Vjo And here is the play list: PLAY Shirley Bassey - If You Go Away (Original Mix) Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi Metanym John Foxx The Sun Dreamer [Mambo Mix]/Ma Fuego Dolce cold night Airstream Whispering Wind Moby

Hungarian Wedding in Wimbledon

I was asked to play at a Hungarian Wedding in Wimbledon recently.. The venue was the lovely Wimbledon Park Golf Club a 1930's art deco building. Highlight was the bridal dance where the groom sits on a chair by the dance floor with a bucket covered with a towel and the guests place money in the bucket to get a chance to dance with the blushing bride. It was a lot more fun than it sounds as you can see from the video. The music was a mix of Hungarian and UK with (at the couples request) plenty of funk and Hip Hop. Marvin Gaye -PLAYWhats Going On (Truth & Rights Remix) PLAY Shirley Bassey - If You Go Away (Original Mix) Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi Neptune (Mike Simonetti's

Wedding – two cultures one family

Wedding - I had the pleasure of playing at the wedding of an Iranian girl to a Scottish lad at the weekend. All the males in the wedding party where dressed in kilts irrespective of which country they were from, likewise the bridesmaids all danced a traditional knife dance prior to cutting the cake. I played a mixture of 90's and current music along with some Scottish and Iranian tracks. It was great to see a full dance floor all night and everybody enjoying the others culture. This what the bride had to say the next day: "Hi Paul Thank you so much for everything you did. We had an amazing time and we had so many great comments about you." The venue was Woodlands Park Hotel in the lovely Surrey

50th Birthday Party

50th Birthday Parties - Played at a friends 50th on Saturday, started at 19.00 finished at 03.30 about 350 people came accross all ages, he specifically wanted me to keep his teenage children and their friends happy while putting in a 90's and Jazz Funk set as well. I had a 7000 watt sound system (crown amps and JBL MRX speakers) 10 DMX'd lights being run by Freestyler and a graphics show being projected onto the roof of the dance tent. Plus 5 lazer and tons of smoke for the 90's set. Oh and a mirror ball for the 80's. Dave said it ticked all the boxes as well as keeping the 50 plus crowd on the floor he was told by one lad that "your 50th was better than

Xmas preperation

All the nights have only just started to draw in, I have been actively working on my Xmas schedule. New years eve has already been booked by Hush in Mayfair as a result of the succesful evening I had with them last year. This Wednesday, I have a meeting with an entertainment agency who are looking to put me in 4 to 5 star hotels in the run up to Xmas. My club work is also on the up, so things a looking good. www.spectrumdisco-dj.co.uk

Different ends of the Spectrum

On Sat night, I played at a party from 20.00 till 11.30 then drove to Vanilla in Windosr and DJ'd from 01.00 till 03.00 in front of 750 including two promotors who had come to see me. Weds night played to 70 handicapped people mainly in wheelchairs. Put a smile on the face of both crowds, but played very contrasting sets www.spectrumdisco-dj.co.uk

Wedding in Laleham Park

This weekend, I DJ'd at a lovely wedding in Laleham Park, Surrey. 200 people, lovely weather and an unusual setting, made for a great time. The location was right in the middle of the Park football pitch with the chairs outside and me playing motown love songs as the guests arrived. When the Bride walked down the aisle her sister sang a Sade number to her and I played Signed Sealed Delivered. I also took photos of the blessing and guests arriving and projected them onto a screen placed behind the stage for all to see. Great for evening guests who had not been there. They used my radio mike for the speaches and I MC'd the afternoon till the evening guests arrived and a band played a set. This

60’s Wedding

I DJ'd at two weddings over the Bank Holiday and have another two this weekend. Last Saturday, I played the music at 60's soul / Northern Soul themed wedding. The bride and groom turned up in an old Jag she looked like twiggy in a short white mini skirt and he was very mod looking. Musically it made a change for me and was really enjoyable although some guests in the evening appeared to be a little bit musically illiterate wanting JLS and Lady Gaga, which would have been fine if they were paying for me and not the happy couple, who wrote to me the next day thanking me. Anyway, here is the playlist 1 Love Is All Around Troggs 2 (There's) Alway Somethin' There To Remind Me Sandie
