Surrey Parties DJ and disco for your party, wedding or special event. We have a wealth of experience of playing at exclusive parties all over Surrey and the home counties, from Polo After Parties to mansions on the Surrey Hills Spectrum Disco is the Surrey DJ to hire. This year Paul Linney has worked alongside DJ’s such as Sigala and Philip George as well as Groove Armada and Brandon Block, he has already been booked to play in Ibiza again next year so he knows how to party. Paul is also a regular at McQueen in Shoreditch-London, he has been asked to be a resident there after playing some successful gigs at the back end of the year.
Musically Paul is happy playing any genre as he has the ability to know which tracks will get people up on the dance floor. He can be heard playing anything from House to Hip-hip, Grime to Goth and all things in between. His skill is reading the dance floor and ensuring that the party works for both you and your guests. Ibiza birthday
Ibiza birthday - these are the best especially when you have all your friends with you. For this years party 100 of us took over Es-Vive in Ibiza for a party that was based on fun in the sun. The first night of celebrations was at Hi (former Space) where we had stage passes and spent the evening rubbing shoulders with Nic Fanciulli and his crew. On Sunday it was off to the Pacha owned Destino for Rumours This time we had DJ booth passes similar to when Guy Gerber was at the Round House in the UK. Cornwall wedding
Cornwall Wedding Cornwall wedding at Trevanna a converted farm. The celebrations were over 3 days and I played at the wedding party in the evening and the BBQ the next day. Most people had driven up from Surrey and there were two couples whose wedding I had played at on the guest list. This was a real fun bunch and out of 130 attending 100 were friends of the bride and groom so it was a real party. Fun again was what they were after and you can see Zorba the greek and Kalinka (the Cossack dance) slipped into the mix along with the house and club tracks
Hospitality and Entertainment Ball – Surrey University
Hospitality and Entertainment Ball or THE Ball as it was called was sold out and it was also the inaugural event for this society at Surrey University. All 300 seats where full, so no pressure then.... Proms and University Balls are great fun as everyone is up for a party The results can be seen from the videos..... And the Tweet from the society to say "Great job tonight Paul" full dancefloor despite them having the lure of the guildford nightclubs. Multinational wedding at the Lensbury – London
London Wedding - Lovely sunny weekend for the wedding at the Lensbury and this normally means a fairly chilled evening till the temperature drops. Not so for this wedding, having 300 guests and a free bar obviously helped in getting the party going from the first dance. The guests had flown in from all over the world and everybody was in a tuxedo or gown there were two wedding cakes and even doves.... It really was a fun day as you can see from the videos below. Indie Dance wedding – Virginia Waters
Played at a great wedding on Saturday, the music they wanted was chilled during the wedding breakfast and then Indie Dance for the party afterwards. The venue was a lovely house in Virginia waters complete with pond and its own swimming pool and the guest where a mixture of Farmers and lawyers so a very demanding crowd. Lodge Farm Barns – Essex
What an amazing event I was asked to be part of last week. I was a corporate party at the new Lodge Farm Barns in Nazeing a beautiful new rural venue located just outside London. The venue are mainly aiming for the wedding market but take on corporate work midweek as well. Fairytale wedding at Fulham Palace
Fulham Palace wedding - Fulham Palace is such an amazing place for a fairy tale wedding that really comes into its own when the courtyard is all decorated with coloured lights that reflect off the fountain in its middle. My bride and groom choose very traditional wedding music to accompany the tunes played by the very talented Hullabaloo for a Ceilidh - which is a Gaelic social gathering with folk music and dancing and occurred in Scotland and Ireland. Hidden Barn Hungerford – Wedding
Hidden Barn Hungerford - Wedding. Hidden Barn Hungerford is an amazing rustic venue that can be hired dry (that means all the staffing is down to the bride and groom and this means reduced costs and more guests) As you can see from the photos the venue is stunning. Having the extra guests helps with the party and the acoustics of the building are amazing, so much so Florence and the machine recorded some of their tracks there.....
