We have a wealth of experience of playing at exclusive parties all over Surrey and the home counties, from Polo After Parties to mansions on the Surrey Hills Spectrum Disco is the Surrey DJ to hire. This year Paul Linney has worked alongside DJ’s such as Sigala and Philip George as well as Groove Armada and Brandon Block, he has already been booked to play in Ibiza again next year so he knows how to party. Paul is also a regular at McQueen in Shoreditch-London, he has been asked to be a resident there after playing some successful gigs at the back end of the year.
Musically Paul is happy playing any genre as he has the ability to know which tracks will get people up on the dance floor. He can be heard playing anything from House to Hip-hip, Grime to Goth and all things in between. His skill is reading the dance floor and ensuring that the party works for both you and your guests. Godmersham, Kent – wedding
Kent Wedding - When the owners of Godmersham in Kent wanted a DJ for their 300 sit-down wedding it was Spectrum Disco and Paul Linney that they chose to spin tunes into the early hours. This historic venue appears on the new English £10 note and was owned by Jane Austin's brother. There was a real mix of guests with very varied musical tastes so despite the numbers it was quite a hard gig. Berkshire Wedding, last nights wedding at Cantley Hotel was the third I had played at for this family. I was joined by the lovely Emma Sax from Leeds Emma is an energetic, up-and-coming female saxophonist with a passion for performing. Guards Polo Club
I have been booked to play several Sunday afternoon's again at Guards Polo Club for their DJ and Steak After Party - Where I will be working alongside Mosimann Catering who will be BBQing some amazing rib-eye Tomahawk steaks and other delicacies. Nineties party 40th birthday
Nineties party 40th birthday - The brief was that the client wanted a 90's rave but maybe not all the guests would appreciate going too heavy too soon, so it was a case of reading the floor and getting everyone onside. "Just amazing- Paul did 5 hours for my 90s themed 40th and got the crowd dancing all night. Thank you!" ”Thanks so much for last night. Secret Escapes at the Hilton London Bankside
When Secret Escapes gave a conference at the Hilton London Bankside and wanted a DJ to create an Ibiza bar vibe, guess who they contacted....... The brief was that they wanted me to create a vibe, but not get people dancing. They wanted people to converse in a chilled relaxed atmosphere. South Coast Corporate fun
After last years successful event at Centre Parcs, Bunzl - Greenham decided that this year they would hold their conference at Butlins in Bognor. I have to say, I was blown away by the facilities there, both for the guests and entertainers. This was a full on production, the theme was casino and they had variety acts and singers during the meal and then from 10.00 till 01.0 it was myself and the casino tables plus the odd bar or two.... It was quite a mixed crowd, so I divided my set into 4 parts with something for everyone. This is what the organiser said: Thanks Paul. Yet again
Dome tent Xmas Party for Film Company
Arri Media the camera and lighting hire company based in Uxbridge hired me to DJ at their Xmas Party this year. The venue was an amazing domed tent configuration erected in the car park. Christmas Parties can be a real test for a DJ, with so many differing needs to satisfy and festive spirit in full flow...... Highest Party in London – Shard Urban Xmas
The Shard - Xmas Party London. I was asked to DJ at the View for the Shard Xmas Party, this is such an amazing venue for a party in London. There were over 150 staff with an average age of 25 with a few older managers, according the CEO my music selection was "on point for has staff" and the manage who booked me wrote "everyone seemed to be having tons of fun" which you can see from the video below.
