This year Paul Linney has worked alongside DJ’s such as Sigala and Philip George as well as Groove Armada and Brandon Block, he has already been booked to play in Ibiza again next year so he knows how to party. Paul is also a regular at McQueen in Shoreditch-London, he has been asked to be a resident there after playing some successful gigs at the back end of the year.
Musically Paul is happy playing any genre as he has the ability to know which tracks will get people up on the dance floor. He can be heard playing anything from House to Hip-hip, Grime to Goth and all things in between. His skill is reading the dance floor and ensuring that the party works for both you and your guests. Silent Disco in Kent
Silent Disco - I DJ'd at the joint 50th and 21st at the lovely home of the current Sheriff of Kent. They wanted the party to go on till 03.00, but at the same time did not want to upset the neighbours. So, the answer was to use my PA until midnight then switch to the silent disco after that. There was 300 people and a real cross section of ages and as you can see the Silent Disco went down really well, with the event planner telling me the next day that her clients where over the moon with my set..... Gorse Hill Funky Wedding
Gorse Hill funky wedding- The bride and groom did not want traditional wedding music, they had asked for a mixture of motown soul disco garage and house. Definitely no wedding cheese...... It was a great night at a great venue, helped by guests who new their music allowing me to play some old Northern Soul and 90's classics as well. The venue of Gorse Hill Surrey is lovely and we were lucky to have one of the few sunny days recently. Shoreditch 90's House Party- London DJ Hire I was asked to play at a 40th birthday party in 93 feet east Shoreditch the home of FUSE the big underground house party. This is a great venue and they supplied a sound and a lighting engineer to operate all the kit which was nice..... The brief was to take them back in time to a 90's House Party. Corporate event DJ – Copper Box Arena London
Last week I got to DJ at an amazing corporate event. The brief was to link between major artists and keep the dancefloor moving without playing anything too leftfield....... As you can see from the video's I had a full dancefloor and the client said "Hi Paul thanks again for working with us! music was fantastic! I hope it was not too manic and look forward to working with you again" The location was The Copper Box Arena in the Olympic Park with 1000's in the audience, the client a leading publishing and media company. Same Sex wedding Foxhills Surrey
One of the events this week was a same sex wedding at Foxhills in Surrey both brides where local girls and there were plenty of evening guests to fill this great venue. With over 40 years experience of hosting weddings, Foxhills is the perfect Surrey wedding venue, helping couples from nearby Hampshire and London celebrate their union in style. The wedding breakfast had been overseen expertly by the toastmaster Adam Voizy and captured on film by Stefanie Cummins. During the evening a BBQ was laid on which was enjoyed by all the guests. 40th Birthday Party Epsom
40th birthday party Epsom - One of this weekends events was a 40th birthday for 100 guests with very varied musical tastes. From charts and house at one end with motown, chart music, 70's and 80's at the other. Overall though it was a fun night with the dancefloor busy from about 8.00pm.
