We have a wealth of experience of playing at exclusive parties all over Surrey and the home counties, from Polo After Parties to mansions on the Surrey Hills Spectrum Disco is the Surrey DJ to hire. This year Paul Linney has worked alongside DJ’s such as Sigala and Philip George as well as Groove Armada and Brandon Block, he has already been booked to play in Ibiza again next year so he knows how to party. Paul is also a regular at McQueen in Shoreditch-London, he has been asked to be a resident there after playing some successful gigs at the back end of the year.
Musically Paul is happy playing any genre as he has the ability to know which tracks will get people up on the dance floor. He can be heard playing anything from House to Hip-hip, Grime to Goth and all things in between. His skill is reading the dance floor and ensuring that the party works for both you and your guests. Cafe de Paris - London was the venue for this years fundraiser for The National Youth Theatre. Sound check for the National Youth Theatre’s tribute to the Blitz Club. Rusty A Egan obviously has the main slot as it was his club. Presenters include Sophie Ellis Bexter and guests Prince Edward, 3 Doctor Who’s, Helen Miram, Derek Jacobi, Barbara Broccoli, Beverly Knight and plenty of other TV and Film sorts. Oxford wedding for Polo couple
Oxford Wedding - What a day and night it turned out for the couple. They had decided on Merriscourt as the venue and it was in every perfect for the couple who are very active on the Polo circuit. Wedding at The Wharf, Teddington, London
This was my first time playing at The Wharf in Teddington, London, although I had been there as a customer several times and always enjoyed myself. This was a real family wedding, with something for everyone. A childrens disco before the first dance and party games as well. Corporate event at The NED
The NED Such a cool place.... I had been DJing in Ibiza at the beginning of the week, so it was nice to have such a prestigious London corporate gig to come back to. The Client was a city firm celebrating its 8th birthday by inviting 150 brokers to an evening buffet and free bar. My role was to play background music to the mainly male guests, however when all the business talking was done, I upped the tempo and got them all dancing. 40th birthday with a 90’s vibe
90's vibe with some cheese early on.... oh and a bit of Madonna and Michael Jackson please. After a week DJing in Ibiza it made a refreshing change to play at this 40th birthday party and it was also an enormous amount of fun. The client seemed happy e-mailing early the following day to say this: I want to thank you so much for being everything I absolutely wanted! You were fantastic- the quality of sound was amazing and lights and projector brilliant. The choice of songs was perfect and yes you absolutely nailed it! Festival Weddings
I got to DJ at an amazing festival wedding a few weeks back. It had everything, from fire pits to hog roasts and chocolate fountains and with over 250 guests it really was a fun occasion. Musically, I played at the ceremony and then some chilled background music during the wedding breakfast, till the band started. They played wedding favourites and I followed on with some funk and disco till midnight, from midnight till 02.00 it was more orientated to the younger guests so there was something for everyone across the whole day. Cirencester Polo After Party
When Cirencester Polo Club approached us to put on an After Party at the Intuition County Cup we felt it was the right opportunity to take our successful "After Party" into the shires. The events had always worked well in the Home Counties for the big games this would interesting to see if would have the same success 100 miles from home. I was playing the 90's soundtrack for the exclusive launch party for our totally bodacious 90s pop-up shop with Renault UK, celebrating 20 years of the Clio in Hogarth House, Holborn, London.
