“Dear Paul, A huge thank you for being part of our wedding! It was such a joy to have you there – playing all those fantastic tunes that the crowd just couldn’t get enough off! All our guests still gush about your music and you managed to please the crowd whose taste varied so much. As with all facets of a wedding, each couple will have their own preferences and place greater importance on some portions of the day than others but it might be of value considering that the entertainment is often one of the most memorable parts of a wedding and therefore potentially worth a reasonable investment and a sensible amount of your overall spend. Godmersham, Kent – wedding
Kent Wedding - When the owners of Godmersham in Kent wanted a DJ for their 300 sit-down wedding it was Spectrum Disco and Paul Linney that they chose to spin tunes into the early hours. This historic venue appears on the new English £10 note and was owned by Jane Austin's brother. There was a real mix of guests

Wedding at The Wharf, Teddington, London
This was my first time playing at The Wharf in Teddington, London, although I had been there as a customer several times and always enjoyed myself. This was a real family wedding, with something for everyone. A childrens disco before the first dance and party games as well. The playlist was varied to suit all ages and was a hit
Festival Weddings
I got to DJ at an amazing festival wedding a few weeks back. It had everything, from fire pits to hog roasts and chocolate fountains and with over 250 guests it really was a fun occasion. Musically, I played at the ceremony and then some chilled background music during the wedding breakfast, till the band started. They played wedding favourites
Middle of the road Wedding
Middle of the road wedding - Weddings tend to bring together family and friends of all ages and musical tastes, so a middle of the road playlist is often required and can be enormous fun. Multinational wedding at the Lensbury – London
London Wedding - Lovely sunny weekend for the wedding at the Lensbury and this normally means a fairly chilled evening till the temperature drops. Not so for this wedding, having 300 guests and a free bar obviously helped in getting the party going from the first dance. The guests had flown in from all over the world and everybody was in

“Thanks also for everything beforehand – emails were consistently answered quickly and you were very patient when we changed our first dance at the last moment and then even more patient when we went back to our Plan A! There was so much organisation involved but we felt throughout in our dealings with you that we didn’t need to worry at all about the music and that it was all in hand. We were right!”
Wedding DJ reviews
To put your mind at rest, here are a few reviews the first is one I was involved with at Coworth Park Ascot recently…..
“My husband and I chose Paul to DJ at our wedding after finding his details online (he had played at our venue a few times too). We were worried about picking a DJ as our two main worries about our big day were RAIN and an EMPTY dancefloor. We needn’t have worried!! Paul was professional and extremely helpful right from the start. I can honestly say that of all my wedding suppliers (and there were a lot), he answered any queries I had the most promptly.
On the wedding day we were running behind schedule a bit but Paul was really adaptable. He played some chill out music for our evening guests which created just the right pre-party atmosphere. When it was time to get the party started Paul delivered in a big way. Our dancefloor was busy all night! He played a good mix of tracks throughout the night and managed to keep everybody happy, and more importantly, dancing! I would highly recommend Paul for a wedding or event and would definitely use him again.”
“When looking for someone to DJ at your wedding, it is always a risk when you have no recommendations or personal experience…so I took to the internet, which can be even more risky….not so with Paul ( Spectrum ) ! Pauls details were one of the top results & I gave him a call to discuss our requirements. Paul soon put me at ease that he would supply the right atmosphere & gauge the mood by giving examples of where he had ‘played’ so I booked! On the evening he was excellent, working initially with a wedding singer & then once the singer left, he ensured the music played perfectly fitted the age group & genre of music to keep people on the floor. Highly recommended & I would book this guy without hesitation for any future party or event we needed a DJ If you’re looking for a great DJ, this guy will not disappoint”
And here are a few more……..
“What can we say.. Paul is a genius. He played at our Wedding in the Cotswolds this September with a theme of cool 80s / ibiza / Glitter box / stuff for the older people / bit of tech house for us later on and he DELIVERED!! It worked so well and was seamless with every banger we asked for and all of what he decided thrown in, which was perfect. Aside for being a track genius he is just the most professional proactive safe pair of hands – just what you want on your wedding day. We didn’t have to worry about anything to do with the music / set up / flow. He dealt with all of it. He played all day from 1pm – 1am including dance floor sets with our amazing Sax man. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much Paul you were amazing we want another party just we can have you DJ again! X”
Cotswolds Wedding
“We used Paul for our wedding in Umbria and he was absolutely brilliant! From the outset, he was very easy to work with – responsive to our emails, polite and accommodating.
We wanted to include a very wide-ranging repertoire, covering all sorts of genres from Persian and Jewish music to garage, indie to house. He did all of this effortlessly!
We had initially agreed for Paul to play for 4 hours but we extended without hesitation for an extra 1.5 hour (until 3.30 am!) as we all wanted to continue partying to his music! The next day, he played at our pool party which went down a treat as well. We all had so much fun dancing to his music! Paul clearly loves what he does and this comes through in his performance.
We would recommend Paul without hesitation.”
