60's and 70's party - This brought back a few memories to the people attending the birthday party held in a beautiful surrey cottage last weekend. The client wrote to me the next day saying "We really enjoyed the music yesterday evening. A friend has written to say it was their first time on the dance floor in 10 years, so that can't be bad!" Here are the tunes I played: Oh Lori Alessi Brothers Oh, Babe What Would
The Vaults - Putney Pies, is one of my favourite venues in London. I am fortunate enough to play there every other month and am joined by the likes of Jon sa Trinxa, Lisa Loud, Howard Hill from Pikes, Samir from Ibiza, the Hoxton Whores and Seb Fontaine in the UK. It really is a fun venue where people go for the music and atmosphere, plus of course the lovely pies The crowd is made of of all
Kent Wedding - When the owners of Godmersham in Kent wanted a DJ for their 300 sit-down wedding it was Spectrum Disco and Paul Linney that they chose to spin tunes into the early hours. This historic venue appears on the new English £10 note and was owned by Jane Austin's brother. There was a real mix of guests with very varied musical tastes so despite the numbers it was quite a hard gig. This is what the organiser

I got to play at several venues in Lombok and the Bali islands Gili Air recently. This was quite an experience and one that will stay with me forever. The people were amazing and despite the recent earthquake always had smiles on their faces. The gigs were all chilled sunset affairs and here is an example of the sort of thing I played. Stir It Up Bob Marley Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) Natty Bong Personal Jesus
I have been booked to play several Sunday afternoon's again at Guards Polo Club for their DJ and Steak After Party - Where I will be working alongside Mosimann Catering who will be BBQing some amazing rib-eye Tomahawk steaks and other delicacies. These exclusive occasions are great fun are sometimes attended by the Queen and other members of the Royal family. Here are a few examples of the kind of music I played at the first event. One
Ibiza 2019 - I like to keep up to date with what is going on in the music and party scene and one of the best ways is get to the exclusive opening parties on Ibiza. Going over early May before the bigger clubs open and all the tourists arrive is a cost effective way of achieving this, Easyjet flights are inexpensive and hotels have deals so its win win. Blue Marlin was full of clubbers rather than the normal
Derby DJ 21st - This was a great brief, drive to a farm in Derbyshire, set up for the after party, then go to a nearby restaurant and set-up for the meal. My set times would be 20.00 till 12.00 at the restaurant and then 12.30 till 04.00 at the after party. As this was a bunch of ex-Repton girls I knew they would be lasting the course, which they did in real style - as one would expect....... Here

Nineties party 40th birthday - The brief was that the client wanted a 90's rave but maybe not all the guests would appreciate going too heavy too soon, so it was a case of reading the floor and getting everyone onside. "Just amazing- Paul did 5 hours for my 90s themed 40th and got the crowd dancing all night. Thank you!" ”Thanks so much for last night. The messages are already rolling in about how good the music was,
