Surrey Parties

Surrey Parties DJ and disco for your party, wedding or special event. We have a wealth of experience of playing at exclusive parties all over Surrey and the home counties, from Polo After Parties to mansions on the Surrey Hills Spectrum Disco is the Surrey DJ to hire. This year Paul Linney has worked alongside DJ’s such as Sigala and Philip George as well as Groove Armada and Brandon Block, he has already been booked to play in Ibiza again next year so he knows how to party. Paul is also a regular at McQueen in Shoreditch-London, he has been asked to be a resident there after playing some successful gigs at the back end of the year.

Musically Paul is happy playing any genre as he has the ability to know which tracks will get people up on the dance floor. He can be heard playing anything from House to Hip-hip, Grime to Goth and all things in between. His skill is reading the dance floor and ensuring that the party works for both you and your guests. Let him know the kind of event you are after and he will work with you to ensure that you get exactly that, a party your friends will talk about long after its finished.

Should you need catering at your event then we recommend Greedy Cows Grazing https://greedycowsgrazing.co.uk/

50th Birthday Party

50th Birthday Parties - Played at a friends 50th on Saturday, started at 19.00 finished at 03.30 about 350 people came accross all ages, he specifically wanted me to keep his teenage children and their friends happy while putting in a 90's and Jazz Funk set as well. I had a 7000 watt sound system (crown amps and JBL MRX speakers) 10 DMX'd lights being run by Freestyler and a graphics show being projected onto the roof of the dance tent. Plus 5 lazer and tons of smoke for the 90's set. Oh and a mirror ball for the 80's. Dave said it ticked all the boxes as well

Xmas preperation

All the nights have only just started to draw in, I have been actively working on my Xmas schedule. New years eve has already been booked by Hush in Mayfair as a result of the succesful evening I had with them last year. This Wednesday, I have a meeting with an entertainment agency who are looking to put me in 4 to 5 star hotels in the run up to Xmas. My club work is also on the up, so things a looking good. www.spectrumdisco-dj.co.uk

Different ends of the Spectrum

On Sat night, I played at a party from 20.00 till 11.30 then drove to Vanilla in Windosr and DJ'd from 01.00 till 03.00 in front of 750 including two promotors who had come to see me. Weds night played to 70 handicapped people mainly in wheelchairs. Put a smile on the face of both crowds, but played very contrasting sets www.spectrumdisco-dj.co.uk

Wedding in Laleham Park

This weekend, I DJ'd at a lovely wedding in Laleham Park, Surrey. 200 people, lovely weather and an unusual setting, made for a great time. The location was right in the middle of the Park football pitch with the chairs outside and me playing motown love songs as the guests arrived. When the Bride walked down the aisle her sister sang a Sade number to her and I played Signed Sealed Delivered. I also took photos of the blessing and guests arriving and projected them onto a screen placed behind the stage for all to see. Great for evening guests who had not been there. They used my radio

60’s Wedding

I DJ'd at two weddings over the Bank Holiday and have another two this weekend. Last Saturday, I played the music at 60's soul / Northern Soul themed wedding. The bride and groom turned up in an old Jag she looked like twiggy in a short white mini skirt and he was very mod looking. Musically it made a change for me and was really enjoyable although some guests in the evening appeared to be a little bit musically illiterate wanting JLS and Lady Gaga, which would have been fine if they were paying for me and not the happy couple, who wrote to me the next day thanking

Great Wedding Disco

DJ'd at a great wedding at the weekend. The location was a converted old barn deep in the Royal Berkshire countryside, there was about 150 guests, which really helps make the wedding go with swing (why do more couples not invite more guests to the evening reception?) I had been told to read the crowd and keep them dancing a lovely free brief in this age of lengthy song lists. This is what I played. 1 Dream A Little Dream Of Me Ella Fitzgerald 2 Volare (Nel Blu, Dipinto Di Blu) Dean Martin 3 Bright Side Of The Road Van Morrison 4 Something Old, Something New Fantastics 5 Chapel
