Visual Jockey or VJ

Visual Jockey or VJ - Visual Jockey's are becoming more and more part of the event scene and finding someone who understands both the art of performance and the performance of art is important to you having the kind of event you are after. I can design shows around a theme or a logo, the more simplistic the core theme the better and more effective the visuals tend to be. Having worked in large venues like the Roundhouse and CooperBox

London 18th Party

London 18th Party, 150 guests and a great night. I played a mixture of remixes of current tunes, plus some classics to keep the dancefloor going right from the start. My new JBL sub woofer which goes down to 30hz really helped with this kind of event. This what was said afterwards: Hi Paul I just wanted to say thank you for providing such a great service on Saturday 31st March for Daisy's 18th Birthday party.  Daisy and her friends had

Indie dance night at Groucho Club – Soho London

Indie dance night at Groucho Club - Soho London The Groucho Club remains a bastion and refuge for arts, literature and media folk in the bohemian heart of London’s West End. This was such a great night in one of Soho's most cosmopolitan clubs. In the crowd was Andrew Ridgley from Wham and Rusty Egan from the Visage. Also present was Chris Sullivan of the Wag club who rather kindly said its great to hear a good DJ as most

90’s Music

90's music - The 90’s started where the 80’s finished off musically but then we saw Electronic music, which had increased in popularity in the 1980s, grew highly very in the 1990s; house and techno from the 1980s rose to international success in this decade, as well as new electronic dance music genres such as Techno and Trance. Not being left behind in the 90s either was Hip-hop which had done well in the eighties also.   Rock and Pop

Fairytale wedding at Fulham Palace

Fulham Palace wedding - Fulham Palace is such an amazing place for a fairy tale wedding that really comes into its own when the courtyard is all decorated with coloured lights that reflect off the fountain in its middle. My bride and groom choose very traditional wedding music to accompany the tunes played by the very talented Hullabaloo for a Ceilidh - which is a Gaelic social gathering with folk music and dancing and occurred in Scotland and Ireland. They were the main

Shoreditch 90’s House Party

Shoreditch 90's House Party- London DJ Hire I was asked to play at a 40th birthday party in 93 feet east Shoreditch the home of FUSE the big underground house party. This is a great venue and they supplied a sound and a lighting engineer to operate all the kit which was nice..... The brief was to take them back in time to a 90's House Party. Here are the tunes I played and a video. Shoreditch 90's House Party playlist

Corporate event DJ – Copper Box Arena London

Last week I got to DJ at an amazing corporate event. The brief was to link between major artists and keep the dancefloor moving without playing anything too leftfield....... As you can see from the video's I had a full dancefloor and the client said "Hi Paul thanks again for working with us! music was fantastic! I hope it was not too manic and look forward to working with you again" The location was The Copper Box Arena in the

Fancy Dress (Poldark) Party

The clients for this 50th Birthday party really went to town with this brilliant Fancy Dress party. They managed to squeeze a marquee into the back garden of a 3 floor London Victorian Villa in Battersea and take their guests back to the time of Poldark. My brief was to play older tunes with a modern twist which was achieved by the playlist below and the client very happy "Thanks a lot for doing such a fantastic job" It was great

West London Wedding – Drayton Court

West London Wedding - If your idea of a good wedding is reception is one of fun and dancing all night then you could not go far wrong by copying the example of the lovely couple I DJ'd for recently. They wanted a party so they invited people to the reception who liked to party, with the bride being Irish and the Groom Scottish they did not have far to look. Another very important factor for the success of the
