VJ London – Talk about coincidences, I went to see Guy Gerber at Destino when I was working out in Ibiza in July. While there got talking to his VJ about the software he was using as it was Resolume, the same as I use. The following morning a friend asked if I wanted to see Guy play in London later that year, too which I said yes if I was free. That lunch I went to see my friend Clara Da Costa playing at Cala Bonita and found that sitting on the table next to me was none other than Guy Gerber. During my lunch I got an e-mail from the promoters of his London Tour to see if I would VJ the graphics for the support band. My initial reaction was that it was a wind-up, but no they wanted me to perform to 2500 people at a show in London.

I was placed at the back of the concert hall next to the sound and lighting engineers so that we could all work together on getting the best show possible. I had produced a lot of the VJ Graphics myself using Adobe After Effects or Photoshop. The main tool though was Resolume and its effects which I set especially for this performance to be triggered from Maschine and Kontrol D2, this caused quite a bit of interest from the lighting guys.
