I played at a lovely corporate Xmas party at the Crowne Plaza Heathrow. It was for 200 people from 3 local companies. While the guests treated themselves to a 3 course buffet, I played some background Xmas tunes gradually moving onto more upbeat tunes until the buffet was cleared away, then it was time to party. Although it was a real mixed crowd the night was great fun and the 3 groups all seemed to enjoy themselves, the function manager backed this up by saying “that was the best night we have had here this Xmas.” So a good Xmas Party all round.
